Payroll Administrator (equity)

Our client is looking to employ a Payroll Administrator with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 + Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
EXP: Minimum 3 year's recent payroll exp, very good working knowledge of SAGE VIP payroll software including Sage Intelligence and Batch Imports/Exports, very good working knowledge of MS Office packages, good working knowledge and understanding of electronic time and attendance.
Duties:
Payroll Planning & Processing.
Gathering and preparing all information needed to timeously perform accurate payrolls
Batch preparation and Imports.
Data and movement reconciliations
Payroll adjustments
rocess, print and submit for approval
Bank interface exports.
Banking platform imports for approval
Payslip Distribution
Prioritize, plan and manage work
Time & Attendance.
Leave movement batch imports
Follow up on missing supervisor approvals
Compile Earning and Allowance batches for accurate importing.
Register biometrics for new employee
Overtime and absenteeism reporting
User support.
Working knowledge and clear understanding of shift patterns, hours allocations, shift premiums and legislation relevant to earnings and benefits
Internal Systems reconciliation.
Ad-hoc reconciliations for Mngmnt and Auditors.
Tax Year end – Payroll vs Tax receipts vs Inland revenue records
Medical aid to Payroll.
