Financial Controller (contract)

This recognized company within the service industry is currently looking to add to their team an individual on a 12month contract to assist with various aspects within the department.

 

The ideal individual will have solid knowledge on models, processes and controls within various industries including financial services, insurance and investments. My client is actively recruiting and ideally looking for an individual that will be able to join their team on short notice.

 

This role will need a person with resilience that will take challenges hands-on, on a daily basis, , therefore prior experience within a similar role will be essential.

 

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Reporting
  • Financial Controls
  • Governance, Compliance and Regulatory
  • Manage teams’ effectiveness
  • Cost Management
  • Business Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Financial Analysis
  • Internal Control & Risk Management
  • Tax Accounting
 

Qualification:

  • Qualified CA(SA)
 

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience within the commercial sector
  • Industries: Services/ Financial Services/ Insurance and Investments will be given preference
 

Skills Required:

  • Solid ERP experience
  • Motivated
  • Advanced Excel experience
