Bookkeeper

Job & Company Description: 

My client has over 35 year’s experience in the insurance and financial services sector. There three division group offers the suitable incumbents a chance to grow within the business partnering with other major national asset management companies within South Africa.  

The chosen incumbent will be responsible for preparing the AP and AR accounts to trial balance, checking details of invoices for completeness and accuracy, ensure all invoices are duly authorised, matching invoices to approved and system-receipted purchase orders, process invoices into SAGE, reconcile payment to creditors statements, correspondence with supplier counter parties to resolve queries and disputes promptly, bookkeeping up to trial balance, processing cash transactions.

 

 

Qualification and Skills Required: 

 

  • Dip / NDip – Financial Accounting
  • Bookkeeping qualifications.
  • 1-3 years’ experience.
  • SAGE experience Non-Negotiable.
  • Experience in the insurance and financial service sector advantageous.
