Hr/payroll Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES: :

  • HR and payroll administration;
  •  Administrate employee entry, change and exit processes;
  •  Handle high volumes of staff queries;
  •  Implement and maintain accurate recordkeeping systems;
  • Employment verification (confirmation of employment);
  • Collect and process time keeping information;
  • Process, administrate and audit transaction relating to leave, overtime and commissions;
  • Process IOD and UIF forms;
  • Process loan and advance application;
  • Ensure optimal use of applicable systems, i.e. payroll, leave, work hours management, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Grade 12;
  •  Diploma or Certificate in HR, Finance, Payroll (or related field);
  •  3-4 Years’ experience within HR and/or Payroll environment, preferably in a corporate environment;
  •  Exposure to large payroll administration preferred;
  •  SAGE 300 People and ESS experience would be a definite advantage;
  •  Experience relating to Benefits, Leave, payroll related administration;
  •  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Payroll / HR Management systems;

  • Ability to use own initiative, work independently and being a self-starter;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong eye for detail and exceptionally accurate;
  • Superb at multitasking and incredible organisational skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constant changing environment often with short deadlines;
  • Ability to maintain a strong work ethic, honesty, integrity and diplomacy at all times, specific as it relates to confidentiality;
  • Immaculate time keeping;
  • Strong ability to scrutinise and optimise systems.
