Senior Manager : Human Capital, 5 Year Contract, East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in HR or Industrial / Labour Relations or Organizational Development or Industrial Psychology and a post-graduate qualification in a related field 8+ years working experience of which 5 years must be at middle management or senior consultant level in an HR environment. Strong leadership, communication & organizational skills. The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Strategic planning & governance input to organizational strategy review & recommend actions; develop unit plans; enhance / implement treasury systems; periodic reporting; supporting of internal/external audits; participate in management forums; facilitate communication; strategy for HR management/development; ensure procedures align with legislation; communicate HR strategy; develop relations with stakeholders Transactional Human Capital Services review/manage employee benefits; manage benefit service providers; develop remuneration bands; oversee compensation processes; oversee master data records; support/advise on HR practices; develop/maintain personnel files; implement training Employee Relations design framework & strategy for ER; manage relations with employee representative body; employer/employee negotiations; oversee wellness program; institute corrective/preventative programs relating to safety, health, fire, and life safety Organizational design & performance management identify HR requirements; develop /maintain manpower planning matrix; drive/facilitate organizational development processes & performance management system; review performance management policy and reward system Succession planning & management implement succession planning and policy; career pathing development Recruitment/selection staff recruitment; develop remuneration strategy; identify positions; maintain job descriptions; shortlist; staff turnover analysis; clearing prospective employees People management implement development/training and succession plans; manage performance, discipline, and absenteeism; motivate staff Budget management prepare/present/monitor HR budget; maintain admin and cost control Reporting conduct research; ensure legislative compliance; maintain trend knowledge and ensure SDP is submitted

Salary: From R900 000.00 per annum
