Service Technician

Typical duties:

  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance and services on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on compressed air equipment.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair.
  • Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with both company and customer health and safety procedures and relevant environmental regulation requirements
  • Maintain customer records and service history, including personal work schedule and performance.
  • Candidate will be required to travel throughout the EC region with occasional overnight stays as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Artisan – Electrical qualification / Millwright with good mechanical background.
  • Candidate will ideally have a broad spectrum of good engineering skills.
  • Working knowledge of compressor or similar electrical, PLC and control systems.
  • Previous experience in a field based service role is ideal.
  • Experience in the compressed air industry would be valued but isn’t essential
  • Sound electrical & mechanical fault-finding experience.
  • Technician will be required to perform standby duty – standby allowance provided.
  • The candidate must be able to work using their own initiative with good communication skills.
