Job Description

  • Resolve Functional Failures and breakdowns on Production Equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting on production machines Identify possible hardware and software breakdowns using the departmental/machine systems and pre-PM inspection checklist.
  • Perform Predictive and preventative maintenance on Production Equipment
  • Machine ownership - check and maintain equipment to be fit for purpose
  • Implementation and execution of Maintain ME initiatives and Programs Review Maintenance
  • Task List for value Add and recommend new tasks for equipment.
  • Provide and Implement machine improvements to increase quality/production levels and to reduce breakdowns
  • Ensure maximum machine availability.
  • Pursue energy saving projects.
  • Provide input into
  • Spares requirements for the Business unit.
  • Give full support to all other business unit partners
  • Clear and open communication. Teamwork
  • Active Participation in Problem Solving. Communicate deviations encountered to SE for production and process improvement
  • Attends a Handover meeting with other Artisan, Team Leader/Section Engineer and prioritizes work to be done
  • Maintain KPI’s.
  • Prepares shift handover reports and makes recommendations for improving department operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
  • Report in detail on performed work in SAP-PM.
  • Follow the internal ESH work instructions in the daily work; demonstrate exemplary personal behaviour in ESH and motivate others; ensure immediate notification and response and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards.
Qualifications

  • Qualified Fitter (Trade Test) or Qualified Electrician (Trade Test)
  • Approximately 3 years’ experience as a Fitter or Electrician after qualifying
