A forward thinking and compassionate Short-term Insurance organization is searching for a fun and tech savvy Social Media Consultant. The company is looking for  an individual with excellent writing skills, great problem solving as well as ability to work in a team.


Key Result Areas:



  • Engaging in social media presence creation on new and emerging Social Media platforms

  • Assisting social Media Management with large projects, events and community management (customer support, care, claims and sales)

  • Analysing and reporting audience information and common queries 

  • Reporting types of client inteactions that take place on Social Media platforms to the Social Media Manager

  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for Social Media content to educate clients 

  • Identifying threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company 

  • Reporting noteable threats to the Social Media Manager

  • Monitoring online reviews and responding to each review

  • Listening and responding to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales

  • Becoming an advocate for the company in Social Media specs

  • Engaging in dialouges and answering questions where appropriate

  • Ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks 

  • Flagging negative comments to the team 

  • Acting in frontline by interacting with customers and fans in real time on various web platforms 


 


Minimum

Requirements:

:



  • Matric is essential 

  • Relevant Marketing/PR Diploma or Degree

  • OWN TRANSPORT

  • Ability to work Night Shift Hours (17:00pm -08:00am)

  • 2-3 years experience in Customer Care and /or Social Media Role

  • Computer Literacy: MS Office, Word and Outlook
