Receiving Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES: :



  • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt;

  • Unload packages from incoming trucks;

  • Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock;

  • Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for;

  • Opens boxes and inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged;

  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.);

  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control;

  • Contact procurement or shipper if a mistake is identified;

  • Work closely with the management team and Quality Assurance to resolve any queries or uncertainties;

  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements;

  • Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary;

  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place;

  • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries;

  • Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary;

  • Track and report on all received spares daily (Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods);

  • Work with internal stake holders to resolve any problems;

  • Daily stock check on all items reflecting “received” on SAM;

  • Updating stock on the SAM system;

  • Managing tooling in the receiving area;

  • Ensures that the receiving area is clean and organized;

  • Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location;

  • Ensuring all items are received correctly and not damaged during the shipping process.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Matric;

  • Dangerous goods handling and Aircraft spares packing (Optional);

  • 5 Years Warehousing or Receiving experience;

  • SAM AMO system (Optional);

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

  • Experience in operating forklifts;

  • Fundamental recording and basic math abilities;

  • Keen eye for detail;

  • Good physical condition;

  • Flexibility.
