General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Staff Management, including mid-level manager

  • Health, safety and hygiene standard maintenance

  • Training, development and mentoring - continuous upskilling of staff

  • General housekeeping oversight and maintenance

  • Full knowledge and understanding of food costing

  • Stock control - rotation, portion, wastage and spoilage control

  • Guest relations - guest centric

  • Events and function knowledge and skills

  • Working with budgets / CAPEX

  • Full Restaurant Management


Qualifications



  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans

  • Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite / POS

  • Own reliable transport - non negotiable
