Senior Manager: Remuneration, Rewards And Benefits

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the provision of specific remuneration related information, analytics and Group Functions reporting to ensure accurate and compliant reporting and enable efficient and data-driven processes.

  • Manage Group Functions compliance of Reward Philosophy.

  • Advocate and ensure adherence to Governance Frameworks.

  • Act as the expert advisory reference point to the Group Functions business on remuneration issues and provide required remuneration guidance to enable the Business Line to function effectively.

  • Build an enabling culture and environment, which is diverse, inclusive, and safe, where our people can live their purpose every day and continuously learn, experiment, and thrive.

  • Extensive senior management experience in managing the reward practice for a medium to large financial services organization or a Reward consultancy.

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing remuneration solutions, preferably with an international footprint.

  • Provide expert contribution in terms of market insights and thought leadership on Remuneration for the Group Functions.

  • Grow our people and build future-fit capabilities, especially within Data, Digital, Technology and Analytics

  • Create capacity and energy in Bank by rewiring our operating framework to delight our clients, deliver everyday executional excellence and enable future growth

  • Develop and embed Group Functions Remuneration governance frameworks, outlining minimum standards of consistency and adherence, which articulates the Groups Reward Philosophy.


 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Commerce

  • 8 years of relevant experience within a Corporate or Consulting environment


Proven experience in:



  • Proposal preparation and engagement with a Remuneration Committee

  • Data analytics and trend analysis

  • Build and application of financial Remuneration models and or Benefit methodologies

  • Policy and procedure writing

  • Forecasting, reporting, and budgeting

  • Vendor engagement and management

  • Proven knowledge of all legislation and regulatory requirements pertaining to Remuneration, executive pay, job grading, benchmarking frameworks and practices, wellness as well as benefits (i.e., medical aid, retirement, risk)

  • High organizational awareness and proven leadership skills to help you across Bank.
