Maintenance Supervisor (automotive)

Job Description:



  • Manage and implement activities required to achieve preventive maintenance levels 1-2 & 3-4 & 5, for all

    manufacturing equipment.


  • Ensure continues improvement activities to meet the Key Performance Indicators targets.

  • Together with the TPM Coordinator ensure level 3-4 maintenance schedules are maintained on the computer

    aided maintenance management system for existing and new equipment.


  • Keep up to date documents related to maintenance, including level 5 services and regulatory service records.

  • Participate in workshops and implement actions to achieve Equipment Care related requirements.

  • Ensure that the new equipment procured is compliant with manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety &

    Environmental requirements.


  • Control the maintenance expenses to meet the budget and develop capital budget requirements to adhere to

    established facilities standards.


  • Direct the Store Person and TPM Coordinator to manage spare parts and consumables accuracy and to

    maintain the computer aided maintenance management system.


  • Liaise with, define, and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when

    subcontracting ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy and security systems.


  • Follow and adhere to purchasing policies.

  • Support Manufacturing Engineer’s with equipment technical failure & set-up.

  • Recommend safety policies and assure safety and legal controls are tested and reliable.

  • Coordinate and manage the maintenance team. Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians and artisans.

  • Contribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to the technical specifications for new

    equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities.


  • Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and

    quality improvement actions for all facilities and equipment.


  • Support the development of target Material & Information Flow Analysis (MIFA) and plant layouts.


Job

Requirements:



  • National Diploma or Higher in Maintenance field (Electrical/Mechanical)

  • Working knowledge of the Quality Systems and Health, Safety & Environmental

  • Thorough knowledge of injection moulding process, equipment, and materials and consumables related to injection moulding technology

  • Minimum 3 years\' of experience in automotive machines and PLC fault finding

  • Driver’s license and own transport

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
