Ict Operations Manager

Key Performance Areas: 

 



  • The ICT Operations Manager will drive our ICT strategy across the various ICT teams and will be accountable for the following competencies: End User Computing, Infrastructure (Networking, Server & SQL), Business Systems and ICT Security. The successful incumbent will ensure all ICT services are delivered across the company Group and will report to the Group ICT Manager.


The successful candidate will ensure that the following KPIs are met:

 



  • Service delivery management (SLA Based)

  • Ensuring strategic technology alignment with various departments

  • Performance management of staff in the teams mentioned above

  • Reporting

  • ICT order management

  • Operational technology strategy

  • Stock management

  • Asset management

  • Review and implementation of current and future processes

  • Review and implementation of business solutions

  • Perform root cause analysis to ensure the resolution of technical issues

  • Ensuring the ICT Ops team adheres to the governed ICT framework

  • Primary escalation point for all Operational support issues (including after-hours support)

  • Continuous improvement across operational competencies

  • Ensure the ICT customer satisfaction survey remains at the agreed threshold

  • Incident management

  • Problem management

  • Availability management

  • Capacity management

  • Knowledge management

  • Budget management

  • Documentation management

Job

Requirements:



  • The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a national ICT diploma and must be ITIL certified.

  • The successful candidate will possess analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • The incumbent must at least 10 years relevant experience and have a proven track record of managing technology focused teams for more than 5 years. FMCG experience will be advantageous.
