Project Manager (facilities Management)

Job Description:

 

  • Drive the development and implementation of facilities management plans in line with organisational priorities and legislated requirements
  • Lead the development and implementation of maintenance plans, facilities management processes and systems
  • Spearhead the development of guidelines for the prioritisation of planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Oversee the implementation of refurbishment projects by internal and external project managers.
  • Monitor progress and conformance to the company requirements on internal maintenance and refurbishment projects through conducting regular site visits and recommending corrective measures
  • Provides facilities management and infrastructure related technical support and advisory services as required
  • Prepare management reports for management insights relating to status, expenditure, variations, delays, etc. For refurbishment projects and internal maintenance programs based on project manager reports
  • Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on refurbishment projects and maintenance activities.
  • Manage the engagement and maintenance thereof of security and cleaning services contracts.
  • Lead the process of developing and maintaining a panel of service providers for various service areas necessary for ongoing facilities maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain a record of service cycles for maintenance of key equipment, machinery and fittings
  • Drive the process of securing a sustainable source of office energy including acquisition and maintenance of the back-up generator
  • Lead the development of selected assets key for ICT services that shall be directly placed under the charge of the ICT department including approval of the same by the Executive Management

Job

Requirements:  

  • B degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or relevant Built Environment field with a minimum of 8 years working experience in infrastructure programme, project management or facilities management of which at least one year must include exposure in infrastructure projects procurement.
  • Registration as a professional engineer, quantity surveyor or architect shall be an added advantage,
