Expression of interest - Permanent Placement Consultant (Durbanville)
Leading Staffing Solutions Company based in Durbanville is seeking the skills and expertise of an experienced Permanent Placement Consultant to join the small Cape Town team

Providing clients and candidates with a superior level of service pertaining to their recruitment and to maintain a high standard of integrity across all facets of the recruitment industry. Please note that this is an expression of interest role to establish the potential in the job market.


 


Minimum requirements:



  • Grade 12

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Advantageous)

  • Computer literate (MS Office)

  • Previous experience advertising on various on job portals (Advantageous)

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience

  • The minimum expected performance will be presented to you on a monthly basis, by your immediate superior in the form of Daily/Weekly and Monthly Activity Reports

Job responsibilities:



  • To maintain a high standard of integrity across all facets of the recruitment industry.

  • To provide clients with a superior level of service pertaining to their recruitment needs.

  • To gain new business through persistently researching the market.

  • To  provide  all  candidates  with  a  superior  level  of  service  pertaining  to  their  job seeking requirements.

  • Expected to run your desk as a profitable business, generating enough income to meet your minimum expected performance

  • To meet set targets and billing targets.

  • To develop a client base through new business development initiatives.

  • To conduct telemarketing calls to potential and existing clients to set targets.

  • To keep in contact with entire client base at least once a fortnight with a set objective and to endeavour to develop the base further at every opportunity.

  • To visit clients, the regularity to be determined and by client needs.

  • To take thorough job orders and to commit to fill every single order awarded by a client. To keep in touch with clients 24 hourly when handling an order and provide feedback on progress.

  • To network with colleagues regularly on orders and candidates.

  • To conduct thorough interviews on applicants following the relevant format.

  • To conduct in-depth references on all applicants following the relevant format (minimum three).

  • Advertising and applicant sourcing:  to write applicant-orientated adverts and ensuring the correct placement in set publications/portals by stipulated deadlines. Adhering to the budget set by management regarding advertising.

  • To  orientate  all  candidates  as  per  standard   rules  of  interviewing  and  client interaction.

  • Telephonic and Skype Interviews with candidates when necessary.

  • To ensure timely completion of activity reports by deadline dates.

  • Marketing reports on targeted accounts of 5 per quarter (to be updated on a weekly basis).

  • To keep detailed records of perm placements and client interaction.

  • To stay motivated and positive to ensure a conducive environment for all.

  • Meetings once a month or as indicated by management

  • Training/refresher training as indicated by management.

  • APSO training; on consultation with Manager.

  • Branch training as required by management.

  • Any additional training; as required by management.

  • Client functions, as required by management.
