Hr Officer

  • Recruitment of wages and staff employees in a fair and unbiased manner
  • Planning, setting up and executing interviews with a buy-in from all the stakeholders input
  • Work with externals stakeholders such as recruitment agencies and OL to identify and recruit the best external candidate
  • Formulate and execute EE Plans to ensure goals and targets are addressed and achieved
  • Ensure a smooth on boarding and induction process for all newly appointed employees
  • Ensuring that the company\'s disciplinary and grievance procedures are applied fairly and consistently
  • Ensure all job descriptions are updated as per department needs

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (ND or Btech)
Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years working in an HR environment in the manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge and experience with HR activities such as recruitment, promotions and disciplinaries
  • Working with trade unions and shop stewards
  • Experience in working with DOL - EE Plans and EE Reports
Other

Requirements:

  • Computer Literacy (MS Word / Excel)
  • Good decision making, Organisational and People Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage time
  • Impeccable disciplinary and attendance records
  • Willingness to learn
