Sheq Auditor

Job Duties:

  • Ensures company conforms to all the SHEQ process and system requirements through the continuous auditing of the system.
  • Provides assistance in the prompt identification of the cause of any identified non-conformity, as well as advice i.r.o. corrective action(s).
  • Ensure on going SHEQ training of employees.
  • Assists other delegated trained personnel (including SHEQ Auditors) in the execution of their duties.
  • Performs document control to ensure all correspondence is safe and available for future use.
  • Company compliant with necessary SHEQ process and system requirements, other legislation / regulations.
  • Non-conformances: problems / issues identified.
  • Non-conformances: corrective actions proposed.
  • Training scheduled and delivered.
  • Feedback received.
  • Document control / filing system in place
  • Operates within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of Company.
  • Identifies and reports risks or areas of concern to management within area of responsibility.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure.
  • Compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
  • Risks reported to Manager.
  • Availability of documentation and records.
  • Cost and expenditure monitored – waste minimized.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with customers (both internal and external) towards rendering highest quality of services.
  • Identifies and solves problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with Company core values.
  • Client / Customer / Employee satisfaction index.
  • Comebacks / discrepancies minimized.
  • Compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
  • Promotes the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources.
  • Controls expenditure and ensures spending occurs within budgetary limits and Company financial guidelines, report deviations to direct Manager.
  • Explores opportunities to control and reduce costs.
Qualifications

  • Certificate/ Diploma in Process and System Audits (NQF 5).
  • Up to 3 years’ SHEQ / Auditing or similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma in Auditing (NQF 6).
 Pc Literacy:

Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems).
